Welcome to the "Interactive Math Educational Platform," an innovative educational experience brought to you by AIxponential, a non-profit organization dedicated to making AI education accessible to everyone. We are excited to partner with schools to explore new ways to make math engaging and relevant for students.
This platform uses advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create personalized lessons and provide feedback on student responses. Our goal is to enhance the learning journey, foster deeper understanding, and ignite a lasting interest in mathematics.

We have meticulously designed "CALCU" and the overall platform to be helpful, patient, and encouraging, focusing on clear mathematical guidance and positive reinforcement.
"Prompt Engineering"
We use specialized techniques to guide the AI's responses and prevent it from generating inappropriate, toxic, offensive, or objectionable material. Content filtering ensures all AI-generated material is appropriate for middle school students.
Culturally Responsive Approach
Our program is built with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive teaching, aiming to connect math concepts to students' lived realities and cultural heritages respectfully.
Continuous Improvement
We are dedicated to continuously monitoring and improving the AI's performance. We regularly review interactions and update our systems to enhance safety and effectiveness.

AI is a Tool
AIxponential is an application that uses underlying AI technologies developed by third parties. We expose the capabilities of these AIs through our carefully designed platform.
Inherent AI Risks
All AI technologies carry inherent risks that are beyond our complete control. Despite our rigorous safety protocols, there is a small possibility that the AI may, on rare occasions, generate responses that are unexpected, inaccurate, or contain unintended objectionable material.
No Guarantees or Warranties
We cannot guarantee that our preventative measures will be entirely foolproof, nor can we guarantee that inadvertent exposures to unintended content will never occur. We will, however, follow up via technical means to prevent any recurrence of such issues.
Hold Harmless Acknowledgment
By participating in the program, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. You agree to hold AIxponential, its staff, and its partners harmless for any inadvertent exposures or issues that may arise from the use of the AI within the program.
